Okay, okay...fair enough...look A2, I trust you, okay? I know last time things got sort of out of hand but we were also under the influence of something.

[She scoffs, but she's also sort of disarmed by 9S saying that he trusts her. It's weird, and it's not something she would have ever expected to hear from another YoRHa unit.]

You're an idiot. [She says, repeating the point she'd just made on it, because she needs to do something back.]

Yeah, he's got nothing. He's sort of flying by the seat of his pants here and so is she (not that she's wearing any). Somehow he's gone from feeling like utter shit about humans hating him to navigating how he feels in regards to A2. All he knows is that his feelings are messy.]</sub>

Maybe you should start it for a change if you want it that badly. [A2 says, though she's moving her face close to his again, watching intently for his choice.

If he wants another kiss so bad, he'll have to initiate it.]

_{[Challenge accepted - there's no hesitation as he leans up to press their lips together. It's not like it's a hard choice to make, after all.]}

[Well, honestly she should have known there'd be no hesitation from him. not for this, anyway, and she presses herself back against him, turning the kiss fierce almost immediately.

Not that he probably minds, and the jolt of electricity running down her artificial spine from her black box is both welcome and pleasant.]

<sub>[Kissing another android, kissing her, provides a thrill like nothing else. He feels a mutual shock at the contact, especially when she turns the initially sweet contact into something far more passionate.

Lips give way as he parts them, in case A2 wants to deepen it. Already it's causing him to shiver, despite the heat he feels building already.]</sub>

[She resists from turning the kiss too deep right away, instead focusing on the just the feelings that the contact of their lips brings, and she brings her hand up to caress his cheek, keeping watch on him as she gently brushes her thumb against his cheek.]

<sub>[Calling him needy wouldn't be wrong - he is, by all definition, needy. The predisposition to be as much has always been there - this place has simply managed to amplify said trait within him. As A2 kisses him he can't help but let his eyelids shut as he kisses back, leaning into the bare, black metal of her fingers. It feels so good. A2's hands are warmer than a human's and it only serves to cause his cheeks to flush pink with coolant.

His own hands move to slide up her back, his touch far more gentle than she might be expecting. She's missing skin, after all - the last thing he wants is for his fingers to feel unpleasant.]</sub>

[Without skin, every little touch is a tenfold sensation, with nothing to dull it from being so. It makes her breath hitch, not that she needs to really breathe in the first place other than to vent excess heat.

Her own eyes slip closed after 9S's do, and A2 is content to just kiss him and touch, at least until the chemicals build up in her system that demands she win a fight that doesn't exist.]

<sub>[Compared to A2, 9S doesn't get as much of a rush the way she does. He's not a combat unit, after all, and while he does get a thrill disposing machines or when he'd been pitted against the android atop him, the severity of the sensation does differ. It's why he finds it easier to relax beneath her weight, to find a slow, meaningful rhythm in exchanging kisses and light touches.

A soft little sigh finds its way past his lips as he sinks even further, guard lowering. He probably shouldn't become so complacent, especially after what had happened the last time, but it's a risk he's willing to take. He craves comfort and A2 seems willing, for once, to provide.]</sub>

[Eventually 9S will learn that he's more than welcome to initiate things with A2. Or that when she decides to sit next to him it's her way of offering. Maybe in a few more months, when they're better acquainted, but it's still only been a few, and A2 is still wary, in some ways.

He's safe for now, though. A2 presses her forehead against 9S, venting a warm breath between their kisses every now and again, legs on either side of him so that she can get fully on top of him.

She's glad that she contracted him, in this place. At least like this she can keep an eye on him. At least like this A2 can protect him, though the fact that 2B refuses her is annoying, at least she can keep one of them safe on her own.]

<sub>[Eventually he'll learn, but it's slow, small steps that'll take him toward bridging the gap between him and her. They've made pretty impressive progress, all things considered, and the more time they spend together, navigating each other's moodswings, ups and downs, the closer 9S does feel toward A2.

She's become important to him, which is something he hadn't expected. He could tell her things that he couldn't tell 2B or anyone else, and unlike 2B she understood the grand scheme of things, held the same secrets he did about their fate, YoRHa and what they stood for. She was pretty and smart and could kick his ass and unlike 2B, she could match him somehow when it came to hacking. She knew how to turn his own exploites around on him and for that he respected her.

He also respects her for looking out for him, something she didn't really have to do, but here they were, enjoying one another's company, or at the very least tolerating it. 9S enjoyed her company...but he's still unsure as to how she feels about his.

Not that it really matters right now. He'd been seeking comfort and now he was finding it. He's not going to complain. Each kiss he gets from her is a welcome distraction, one he returns eagerly. He trusts her, as foolish as that may be, even if he knows she probably doesn't feel the same way toward him. Then again, it's just another sign of her intelligence - 9S probably wouldn't trust himself if he was in her position. He barely trusts himself as it is.]</sub>

[It is comforting, being close to someone in a physical way when she hasn't had it in so many years. Comforting, and scary all the same. The fact that he trusts her so much to not hurt him, even though A2 feels like he should be struggling against her right now.

But he's not. He's returning her hungry kisses with ones of his own, And she wants to do right by him for it. She's not 2B, she knows she'll never be that close to him, and she knows that he'll never want her in the same way that he so painfully obviously wants her. Frankly, A2 isn't sure she'd want him to want her like that. Especially not after seeing just how unhitched he could possibly get.

She snorts in amusement against the kiss, suddenly pulling away to look down on him, lips quirked in obvious amusement.]

_{[He quips back, unable to keep the smile off his face as she throws the jab his way. By now he knows she doesn't mean it - if anything it's a term of endearment at this point.]}

[A2 sighs, moving her hands on top of his forearms to give them a squeeze. She doesn't do or say anything after that, simply sitting on top of him and looking over him with her usual glare, even if it's probably less fierce than he's used to.]

At least you're in good company?

_{[Is all he offers up as he lets her straddle him, her glare a familiar occurrence now. Sometimes it can be frightening, sure, but right now it feels warm. He knows there's no malice behind the look she's giving him, and honestly? It's nice to be the center of her attention.]}

[9S gets another huff, and another squeeze of his fingers, and A2 leaning forward just slightly.]

<sub>[He means that too. Most of the time he's gotten worked up he's always just been left frustrated, forced to wait it out. It's a fight that truly gets them going, after all, even the promise of one. A little pain here or there, a scuffle if you are...but there's the threat of things getting out of hand. They did last time.

But that doesn't mean he hadn't enjoyed it on some level. (He had).

The squeeze she gives his fingers is returned but it's done so with the tiniest shock of static electricity. A little spark, if you will. It's not something he really wants to think too hard about or even acknowledge as something that had happened in another time or place, but Adam had used electricity against him. What's to say they couldn't use the same idea?]</sub>

I'd suggest we play tag but that might piss off our neighbours.

[The shock of electricity is responded to by way of A2 pulling away her hand and giving him A Look, because honestly, she can't believe he zapped her like that.]
