So maybe Vash isn't paying, like, the most attention when he heads back to his room that night, yawning into his hand and preparing to sleep like an absolute brick for at least the next eight hours, if not longer. Whenever A2 makes to retire into her room for the night, or perhaps returns in the morning if she happens to be more of an insomniac cryptid, she will find her bed unfortunately Occupied. Not even politely, unobtrusively occupied, either. Vash is currently starfishing across the entire bed, curled up in the blanket like a perfect little burrito, snoring soundly.
Viveca and Degar really ought to put nametags on the doors, honestly.]

She walks out, double checks the door even though she's confident on which room is hers, and then walks back in to make sure that the body is in fact, someone elses. In her bed.
The next thing she checks is that it's alive, but the snores are at least a give away to that.]
Unbelievable.
[She's not about to wake him up though, and will simply retire to a corner in the room, slide to the floor, and start some maintenance, because it's the only thing she can really do to pass the time around here.
Who knows. Maybe there's a stick stuck in wires somewhere, is the thought as she starts with the panels on her legs, checking everything upwards in sequence.]

How are things going for you on the Blue Dawn, A2?
i apologize once again for her
[That's it. That's all you're getting.]
I cackled
Good! I've heard your captain is a stern but kind woman, I'm glad to hear things are going well. The captains of the Hawking seem like good people as well.
Do they have ships that fly like this where you're from?

text -> video -> text
[And she'll send that, a video of said flight unit, along with what it looks like to board them.]
Does that satisfy your curiousity?

no!!! I have so many questions! How fast do they go? How long can you ride in them? What does it feel like to ride in one?
no subject
She'll send him a shitty statblock of them from her last memory. It's incredibly detailed, and probably uses incredibly large and obscure words. Alas.]
You can ride in them until they run out of fuel. Don't ask me how long that takes. I don't know. Riding in them feels like riding in a flight unit. I don't have anything to compare it too.

Where I'm from, people called cultivators ride the sword. It's exactly what it sounds like, they stand on top of a sword and use spiritual energy to make it fly and to keep their balance.
Since I've been on the Ximilia I've met a lot of people who could fly in their worlds using large ships and things like that. I know this is different from riding the sword, but it's a lot closer to what I know. I'm sure your flight units are faster of course, but they seem closer to the sky.

They're closer to the sky because they're launched from a space satellite to earth. So they can also go back up that way too when needed.
Honestly I don't have much in the way of details about it. I've only ever rode one once.
